The short version

Pacetrack has no accounts, no ads, no cookies and no tracking. Nothing you do on the site is sent to us.

Location (GPS pace alerts)

GPS pace alerts are off by default. If you turn them on, your browser asks for permission and your position is used only on your device to estimate your current pace during a run. Location is never stored, uploaded or shared. It stops the moment the run ends or you close the page.

What is saved on your device

  • Your coach voice choice (female or male), kept in your browser's local storage so it is remembered next time.
  • Nothing else. Clearing your browser data removes it.

Services the site relies on

  • Hosting: the site is served by Netlify, which keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and pages requested) to run and protect the service.
  • Fonts: typefaces load from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google's servers to fetch them.

The music and voice

Every song and every coach line on Pacetrack is original audio created with AI tools for this site. The songs play straight from our server; we do not see who listens to what.

Children

Pacetrack is not aimed at children under 13 and collects no personal information from anyone.

Changes

If this changes (for example, if we add anonymous usage statistics), this page will be updated first, with a new date at the top.
